Chris and Julie Huber are based in the Seattle-area. Chris is a wedding, portrait and fine art photographer whose day job is as a reporter and photojournalist. He offers up his photojournalistic background to capture the genuine moments of everyday life and special events. Julie adds her organizational and artistic visual skills to the mix, too. They both bring a casual, cooperative and creative approach to shooting weddings, events and portraits.
Christopher Huber Photography originates in Chris’s everyday experiences as a curious student, traveler, and nature lover. Most of his work came to be simply because he carried his camera with him everywhere — Alaska, Peru, Costa Rica, Panama, Washington and beyond.
He owes his good camera-toting habits to a few photojournalists and editors he worked for before his photography career even began. It’s actually more of a lifestyle than a job, though. They hounded him to carry his camera — turned on, with lens cap off — to school, work, in the car and everywhere in between. His grandfather — a retired photographer and editor — got him interested in the craft in high school.
Photography is an amazing medium through which we can tell people’s stories, evoke emotion and compassion or incite people to action. Photography also provides a way to show people the natural beauty that surrounds us on this magnificent earth. It seeks to bring out the little truths of everyday life, so that we may understand a little more about the world in which we live, as well as to preserve the special memories that last for a lifetime.
Christopher Huber Photography exists to live out that philosophy while developing positive relationships with people.

What are clients saying about us?
“We wanted to get some photos before our new baby came. Chris came to mind because I have seen his great work in the past. He was so good at giving direction and is just an all around great guy. Even our 6-year-old that can’t wait for anything took his direction. These are by far the best photos that we as a family have ever had taken. Thank you again for your talent and art in taking great photos.”
- Shalyn Pappas, family portraits, 2011, Bellingham, Wash.
“We enjoyed working with you. You were always prompt and well prepared. I like that you are calm and casual and that you were excited about the venue and its photographic possibilities. The pictures are wonderful. You sure did capture the joy on their faces.”
- Todd and Laurie Werre, parents of the bride, 2011, Sammamish, Wash.
“I’d like to thank you for your professionalism at my wedding. My parents also commented on how hard you worked. My mom was really thankful for your pics and capturing the perfect moments. Her favorite pics are when my dad gave me away at the ceremony. She says she looks at them and cries. Your pictures told the story of what happened on that special day. Thank you, I’m very pleased and glad I found you!”
- April Ramirez-Chavez, bride, 2010, Seatac, Wash.
